  18. jokes Bob Hope. But Ronald Reagan won't be going to casting
  19. calls. He has signed a two-book deal, estimated to be worth $5
  20. million, with Simon & Schuster. He will do a book of his
  21. speeches and one of personal reminiscences and anecdotes. Said
  22. Reagan: "I've got my pen in hand, and I'm ready to get started."
  23. S&S says Reagan wants to write his memoirs himself, but insiders
  24. claim that a seasoned ghost will probably be hired.
